The admissions process for the School of the Nations is as follows:

- School will contact you to set up the following:
For admission to Kindergarten - Placement Interview
For admission to Primary - Reading Comprehension test, Written English test, and Mathematics test
For admission to Secondary - Written test in English and Mathematics
- School will decide best placement for child and you will be notified.
All fees and forms should be completed prior to child commencing school. Uniforms and required books are all available at the School.
School Fees
The fees for the 2010/2011 academic year as as follows:
Per Semester:
- Kindergarten (K1-K3) - $20,200.00
- Primary (P1-P6) - $26,000.00
- Lower Secondary (F1-F3) - $28,900.00
- Upper Secondary (F4-F6) - $33,200.00
New students will also pay a non-refundable:
- Application fee: $500
- Registration fee: $3,000
All fees are in Macau Patacas (MOP): US $1 = $7.5 Ptc.
Payment Schedule and Refunds Policy
Fees are charged on a semester basis and are payable according to the following schedule:
15 March: 20% of one semester's fees non-refundable to reserve a place for the coming academic year beginning in September. This payment confirms your reservation for the coming year. As space is limited and some classes have waiting lists non-payment could result in cancellation of your enrollment. At this time students on the waiting list will be notified of places left vacant for the first semester.
15 June: Balance of first semester's fees for the coming academic year. This payment re-confirms your reservation for the coming year. Non-payment could result in cancellation of your enrollment. 50% of this payment is non-refundable. 50% of this payment is refundable if notice is given before 15 August.
15 November: 20% of second semester's fees (non-refundable). This confirms your continued enrollment. At this time students on the waiting list will be notified of places left vacant for the second semester.
15 December: Balance of second semester's fees (non-refundable).
Late payments not resulting in the cancellation of enrollment are subject to a penalty of 2% per month. If payments has not been received by the beginning of the corresponding semester it will not be possible for the student to attend class until the account is settled.
Students are assured of a place in the school only after payment of the corresponding fees. Students entering in the course of the year:
- Kindergarten / Primary / Lower Secondary students will pay fees pro-rated according to the following formula:
1/5 (semester's fee) * number of months.
- Upper Secondary students will pay fees pro-rated according to the following formula:
1/5 (semester's fee) * number of months.
A fraction of a month is counted as one month. However, they will also have to pay an additional 8% of the Annual Fee. Fees are charged from the time a place is reserved in the school.
